One helluva chair.

We have have been busy again, Brian M. and I made a visit to Redbarn School earlier this week to look at this giant chair which had been condemned for use as unsafe for the children to play on. After looking at it we both decided that it was repairable and we arranged with the school that it could be repaired in the half term, so Brian and I set about working on it on Thursday the 31st October, it took longer to remove the rotten timber with their rusting screws than it did to fix the new slats.

The quote for a replacement chair was £800 however we obtained the necessary raw material and with a couple of extra bits from home we managed to save the school that and for a total cost of under £23; free screws from me and just under 3 hours start to finish, it was a job well worth doing
