Memories of times gone past.
Following the passing of her husband, Sue had kindly donated some things which would be of use to the Shed or could be sold to help raise Shed funds. On collecting some donated items we discovered that Sue had an old dolls pram which was hers when she was a child. The pram dated back to the early 1950s. Unfortunately it was now in a poor condition with metalwork suffering from rust, the fabric inside showing its age and rotted suspension straps rendering it unusable. Obviously it meant a lot to Sue who felt unable to part with it so in view of her generous donations of items The Shed willingly offered to see if it could be restored.
The inside lining and cover were given a makeover with some stitch work repaired. The wheels and body were repainted, chrome work restored and with the addition of new suspension straps the finished pram was presented back to Sue who was overwhelmed with how it had been brought back to life. It revived lots of happy memories for her.
