Where would we be without our little elf?

It's really great when a little elf turns up, not totally unexpectedly, bearing gifts, especially ones like this.

ChrisH spent some time filling in the forms for Asda's community grant. One of ther questions was 'what did we want the money for?' At the time he was racking his brain as we had no IMMEDIATE requirement. Our position in The Theatre was secure for quite a few more months and we had nowhere in mind for a new shed so how about our Chrisdtmas bash? It's always a good occasion for our members and their partners enjoy it. We always subsidise it, so this year the subsidy will be courtesy of Asda and Heidi! This will allow us to save up even more in case a venue comes along for a new shed, as we will need every penny that we can scrape together.

As this will almost definitely be our last full year in the building that we have called home for over ten years, we thought that a group photograph in The Arden Theatre would not be inappropriate. Just maybe that little green character could have been Titania, after all it would be amost approriate place for her to appear.

Asda and Heidi, how can we thank you enough, we try and help our local community as much as possible and it's really nice when it flows in the opposite diection.
