We attended the Wicor EcoFaye earlier in the year which was a great success and were subsequently asked if we could replace the flowerpot stand at the back of the shed. Colin Mick and myself went and removed the old stand along with a tree stump. We were extremely careful and called "flob-a-dob" numerous times in case we came across Weed, Bill or Ben but thankfully they weren't there. Colin re-purposed their old stand and created a nice strong new flat-pack home for their flowerpots off-site. We went back to assemble the frame (Colin had carefully written an instruction manual, we all know how difficult it is to build a flat-pack) and used some reclaimed pallet boards for the shelving. We were also asked to make some steps for the shop which Colin did. Since getting involved with The Shed he really has honed his skils. A really big thank you Mate. While I am on the subject of projects, we now have a large projects board on the wall in the social area and need to fill some of the blanks in with members prepared to get involved, so come on guys, please come forward and help with these, just pick up a magic marker and put your name next to some of them.
