Once again Fareham Men’s Shed have answered the call to help Friends of Fareham Railway Station by building six planters, to decorate the platform. With great support from John C, who designed cut-outs of a full train set to decorate and inform the history of the station from early steam to modern day electric diesel.

Chris C, Colin F, and I assembled the planters and set them up on the station. The rail staff much appreciated them as I hope do the trvelling public, it's amazing how a little bit of nature can lift one's spirits and make a probably tedious journey, so much easier.

A job well done.
